Terms and Conditions


Only persons over the age of 18 are allowed to purchase products from our website. All users should read the following terms and conditions and if you do not agree with them, you should leave the site immediately.

Accepting your order

Your order will be accepted when you receive the order confirmation. At which point, a contract between you and us will come into existence. However, under the following circumstances, the order may have to be cancelled after confirmation has been sent. We would contact you to advise you of this and may include any of the following reasons:

  • We may be unable to supply a particular product due to it being out of stock and no longer available.
  • The product has been held for a safety recall notice or product improvement modification.
  • An error in the pricing or description has been identified.
  • Unexpected limitations on our resources, for which we could not plan for.


We only deliver to mainland UK. Charges are available to view before ordering.

We endeavour to despatch products within one working day of accepting the order. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Delays will be advised by email or telephone accordingly. Some items may have a longer despatch time due to the nature or size of the product.

Once despatched, the order can no longer be cancelled.

If nobody is available to receive the order, the courier will make further attempts to deliver it, or will advise what you need to do. If the order has been sent via Royal Mail, it will probably be held at the local sorting office. If the courier's further attempts to deliver are unsuccessful or the order is not collected, as per instructions, the order will be returned to us where we may cancel the contract and issue a refund, less the costs incurred.

If your order hasn't been delivered after you feel an unacceptable amount of time has passed, you may contact us and discuss the possibility of cancelling the contract. Your legal rights are unaffected.

Once your order has been delivered, You will take full responsibility for the items, this includes loss or damage.

Images and Descriptions

The product images used on our website are for illustrative purposes only and the actual product may differ slightly. We try where possible to use images of the exact product, but on occasions alternative images need to be used or manufacturers may change products slightly. Product packaging may also differ from that shown.

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with specifications and technical information. On occasions we may make a mistake or specifications and technical data may change without our knowledge. We therefore give no guarantee that the information stated is completely accurate. All mistakes or changes to specification will be corrected as soon as it becomes apparent.


You will become the legal owner of the products once they have been delivered and paid in full. Until such time, the products remain the ownership of John Miller (Corsham) Ltd.

Your rights to change your mind

For products purchased online, you have the right to change your mind within 14 days and request a refund. You will need to follow the returns procedure and abide by the terms set out. The information is available at the foot of our website.

Faulty Products - warranty

In the event that a product has developed a fault and is deemed to be warranty, you should contact us first for further advise. We can sometimes resolve issues by giving advise. Please note that the products we sell can be repaired by any authorised dealer for the specific manufacturer, this quite often speeds up repair/replacement times. We can advise you of your local authorised dealer, if required.

If a local authorised dealer is not available, we will give advise on how to return the product to us.

Please note that faults found not to be warrantable, will become chargeable, this will include all carriage costs. We will advise you first if a repair becomes chargeable and give you an estimate advising you of the total costs. We will only continue with the repair after you have given us authorisation in writing.

our right to vary these terms and conditions

We have the right to amend and revise these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes affecting our business and market conditions. This includes changes in regularity requirements, payment methods and relevant law.

Winter Service Terms & Conditions:

Our 2022 winter servicing offer runs from October 1st 2022 to November 30th 2022. This is the period when the machines/equipment must be booked in. The service itself may take place after this date, but will be controlled by ourselves, although we’ll try to accommodate where possible.

The offer is aimed at garden machinery and equipment which we sell and/or support. Other makes of machinery or equipment will be considered on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse to service any machine or garden equipment.

Additional work is chargeable but will also qualify for 15% discount in most cases. Collection & delivery is an additional charge, the amount is dependent on distance from our premises.
